Global Office Projects Technical Professional

This challenging position opens the door to those who have a technology background but wish to venture into project management and lead implementations that result in tangible outcomes.The Office Projects& Logistics team is responsible for all global projects involving new office setups, office expansions, office moves, and any major office enhancements.Your role is to take on the technical lead for our team on many of these projects.
Leading specific technical efforts (planning, coordination, follow-ups) pertaining to office projects
Providing technical specifications & clarifications to external and internal parties in respect to various global office initiatives
Daily coordination between the Global Office Projects team and other Technology teams
Building and maintaining processes, procedures and communication channels with IT and externals
Project management & leadership of various tasks and certain office projects
Setting global office fit-out standards and maintaining technical guidelines in place
Ensuring technical handovers and trainings are managed properly
Preparing budgets and cost proposals for our stakeholders and project sponsors
Administrative work revolving around file management, financial control, documentation, reporting etc.
Working with IT to setup and help maintain global server room standards
Ordering equipment & services and managing those purchases, deliveries & installations within predefined budgets and timelines
Participating or leading meetings with internal and external parties to ensure project success
Working and helping the team also on non-technical tasks which could include but is not limited to interior design, architecture, layouts, furniture & material selections
Defining AV, data, electrical, HVAC, lighting, server room, etc. specifications with contractors
What we expect
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and systems (racks, UPS, servers, network etc.)Previous experience building server rooms or on construction projects would be a strong plus
Experience working with external parties & contractors on international projects
MEP knowledge would be a great asset to the team
Willingness to spend considerable time on administrative tasks including but not limited to preparing budgets, cost control, documentation, contract reviews, process updates etc.
Experience working with MS Office suite and MS Project
Understanding of layout plans, CAD drawings and other design related works
Willingness to travel abroad to perform remote project work and conduct due diligences
Excellent English written & verbal communication skills, German would also be highly helpful
Ability to work well in a fast paced, dynamic growing organization within a tight knit team
Willingness to work regularly beyond a purely technical scope of work to get the job done
Experience in managing short & long term projects with both internal and external parties
