At our headquarters in Baar, we are seeking for the Business Unit Operations

Supplier Quality Manager (m/f) 100%

  • Responsible for the control, monitoring and improvement of supplier related activities and metrics, with respect to product/process quality plans and any quality concerns that manifest
  • Develop and implement comprehensive Supplier Quality Agreements & Development Plans
  • Support plants with supplier quality notification processes (corrective actions, PPAP, etc.) and return procedures
  • Standardize global supplier quality management processes and programs such as zero defects, Lean, dock to stock, process validation, delegation programs with the goal to push robust Quality Assurance to suppliers
  • Implement ongoing global supplier process & product audits, source inspections and Continuous Improvement activities
  • Develop with the supplier, appropriate Quality levels with respect to APQP, SPC, validation, verification, Final Test and Audit, PPAP, first article approval etc prior to any new product release
  • Communicate requests and assure expedient and reliable corrective action from the supplier if a problem or failure occurs that is relevant to the Suppliers product
    Carries out Global SQM responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
  • Complies with all global, federal, state, and local laws and regulations relating to the product or the workplace
  • Follows all Company rules and regulations, including health and safety rules
  • Travel domestically and internationally as may be required to meet business and customer expectations
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field required; Advanced degree is preferred
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in supplier quality assurance with both domestic and overseas suppliers; medical device experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of FMEA, SPC, PPAP, RCCA, V&V and APQP as applied to medical
  • Six Sigma certification preferred
  • Experienced in conducting and managing supplier Audits 
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing strategic supplier quality processes and metrics 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and in-depth contractual knowledge
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook); Adobe Professional; as well as problem solving tools/applications (Statistics; Pareto)
  • Solid project management facilitation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
  • Experience working in an environment with global objectives
  • Must be able to read, understand and communicate in English and Germany
