Electrical / Power Engineer
We are looking for an electrical engineer with excellent design and electrical engineering skills who is motivated to work on drones and sensors in a local startup. Responsibilities will include the development of an autonomous drone charging station and support of the development of a drone autolanding system. You will work with other electrical, aeronautical, and drone engineers to develop hardware and firmware for quadcopters.
Develop electronics for autonomous (possibly wireless) charging of the drone
Analog electronics development
Support the development of a drone autolanding system
Write requirements, design descriptions, and test procedures
Run tests and evaluate test results
Develop a photovoltaic charging and power management system for distributed wireless sensors
Skills and Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of rechargeable battery technologies
Strong experience in the design of wireless power transmission systems
Experience in the design of battery charging circuits
Experience in analog electronics circuit design
Knowledge about photovoltaics preferred
Good oral and written skills in English and German
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
Must be flexible and be able to work in a multicultural environment
Must have experience in related engineering fields
