Our professionals within FSO Assurance practice in Zurich develop specifically tailored audits in order to build trust and to ensure clarity, transparency and continuity for our clients in Financial Services.
 
 The Operations Support Professional focuses on overlooking eight core operational work streams for the FSO-CH Professional Practice Team and all audit professionals in FSO Switzerland. He/she is responsible to enforce/establish/support the team's processes.
 
Tasks that you promote

Your tasks will be:
 

  • Execution of administrative tasks with high quality, accuracy and speed

  • Relief senior management from performing or following up on administrative tasks

  • Support audit teams business needs with regard to regulatory audit related matters and improve/stream line support processes

  • Reliance on firm's supporting processes/services wherever possible - ensuring to effectively use EY's infrastructure and internal services to not built any overlapping/double efforts

  • Organization of various quality review procedures performed by EY internally

  • Handling of independence policies related questions and its guidance as well as independence check requests and maintenance of data in systems supporting independence procedures and checks

  • Handling of requests and requirements set out by supervisory and regulatory authorities
Your profile to succeed together
  • Commercial apprenticeship with several years of professional experience (usually at a consulting or auditing company) or management assistant with a flair for team support and willingness to do data maintenance

  • You can work independently with a high own initiative and assertiveness (gathering information from various stakeholders)

  • You are assertive with a proactive approach and with excellent organizational skills as well as ability to work in an international team environment

  • You are able to prepare and develop management reports

  • Understanding and ability to connect complex control equipment and processes

  • Experience in project management is beneficial

  • Affinity in the handling of technology and computer science, good MS Office skills, Lotus Notes / IBM Notes knowledge

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English are essential. Knowledge in French and other languages is beneficial
