Being part of the Assurance practice in Zurich our specialists within the Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services ("FIDS") department develop specifically target business concepts to create confidence and prevent or combat fraud, bribery and corruption. We currently have a career opportunity for a Manager in Fraud Investigation in the financial services sector based in Zurich.
Tasks that you promote
As a Manager in Fraud Investigation, you will be responsible for planning, leading, and managing projects in cooperation with national and international companies predominantly in the financial services sector. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analysis and optimization of Compliance Management Systems (e.g. identification and assessment of compliance risks, compliance trainings, third party risk due diligence)

  • Assessment of Compliance Management Systems (concept, suitability, effectiveness)

  • Review of policies and procedures, internal processes and controls (incl. control testing)

  • Fraud prevention, including fraud risk assessments and compliance program development (FCPA, UK Bribery Act)

  • Investigation of allegations of non-compliance and/or compliance issues.

  • Carry out and management of investigations involving financial crime like fraud, misconduct, fraudulent financial statement (incl. forensic accounting), anti-money laundering (AML), anti-bribery and corruption violation (FCPA, UK Bribery Act)

  • Work with clients, internal and external auditors, lawyers and regulatory/law enforcement authorities in sensitive, high profile and sometimes adversarial situations

  • Leading and managing projects/business relationships whilst ensuring a high quality integrated service is provided on time
Your profile to suceed together
  • Strong academic record including a degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Business or similar discipline, additional professional qualification is a plus

  • At least five years of work and management experience either in Consulting/Big 4 or within the Compliance/Legal/Internal Audit Department of a company within the financial services sector including experience in forensic investigations

  • Understanding of the legal and regulatory framework of financial crime, investigations and litigations procedures

  • Profound knowledge and previous experience in the aforementioned fields

  • Excellent English skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability to simultaneously handle diverse and pressing assignments as well as sensitive and adversarial situations

  • Critical thinker with very good attention to detail 

  • Entrepreneurial thinking and customer orientated

  • Assertive and confident interpersonal skills

  • Flexible and able to adapt to new situations
