Function/Position objectives

The Investment Consulting team provides investment advisory, asset allocation expertise and portfolio analysis services to sophisticated Private Banking clients and Client Relationship Managers globally. We are looking for a dynamic professional with a strong background in cross-asset investment advisory & sales to take on a senior role in the Investment Consulting team in Zurich. We place strong emphasis on teamwork and a proactive & client-oriented approach.


  • Provide high quality tailor-made investment advice to Family Offices, UHNWI clients and sophisticated Private Banking customers across different markets   
  • Construct and monitor investment portfolios, advising clients on their asset allocation, strategic investments across all asset classes and risk mitigating opportunities
  • Follow and analyse financial markets to monitor and develop client's investment strategies
  • Daily client interaction by phone, e-mail and physical meetings
  • Develop and initiate investment ideas in collaboration with the global Investment Consulting team


  • Master's degree in a relevant field and/or education in business or finance. Higher financial education (CFA/AZEK) would be advantageous
  • Minimum 5 years client-facing experience in a senior investment advisory and sales function in the banking industry
  • In-depth knowledge of financial instruments across all asset classes
  • Very good communication and presentation skills
  • Flexible and reliable personality with strong ability to work under pressure
  • Strong knowledge in Excel, Power-Point and Bloomberg; experience with Avaloq preferred
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English a must, further languages appreciated
