Quality Engineer who ensures that new products are developed and documented according to Tecan processes, to our highest quality standards and compliant with global regulations.
In this exciting role you will have the opportunity to support and guide multiple development projects from design to market introduction. You will ensure that the design verification and validation of new products as well as the production line processes are executed and documented according to ISO 13485/IVD/QSR requirements. Furthermore, you will continuously strive to optimize our processes, SOPs and all related documents to improve our product quality. You will lead document reviews and implement regulatory requirements. Additional activities include training your colleagues from different departments about quality, regulatory and process requirements.
Requirements: To be successful in this role you will preferably hold a degree in technical or life sciences and have at least seven years of experience with a track record in a similar position in design transfer in the medical device industry. You also have a quality education (Q-technician or QMS) and thorough knowledge about IVD guidelines, ISO13485 & QSR requirements. Strong organizational skills in relation to managing multiple tasks with tight deadlines and the ability to work accurately and autonomously are essential for this job. You are fluent in both German and English. You are self-motivated, have excellent interpersonal skills, and enjoy working independently as well as part of a team.
