Communcation Manager (f/m/d)

Your tasks:

  • Developing and Executing Communication Strategies: Create and implement integrated communication plans that align with Stromer’s brand vision, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms (digital, print, PR, etc.).
  • Brand Messaging and Content Creation: Lead the creation of compelling content, including press releases, blog posts, social media updates, and product messaging that highlight Stromer’s innovative product offerings.
  • Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and key industry stakeholders to increase brand visibility and manage press inquiries effectively.
  • Media Test Bike Management: Oversee the allocation and management of media test bikes for journalists and influencers, coordinating logistics, ensuring timely delivery, and tracking feedback and coverage.
  • Leading External PR Agencies: Manage and lead all external PR agencies, ensuring alignment with Stromer’s brand strategy, overseeing the execution of campaigns, and driving media coverage to enhance brand reputation.
  • Internal Communication: Create an exciting and engaging internal communication strategy to ensure consistent internal messaging and effective collaboration across teams.
  • Crisis Communication: Develop and implement crisis communication strategies to protect and enhance the brand’s reputation during challenging situations.
  • Award Submissions: Prepare and submit applications for relevant industry awards, managing all aspects of the process, from logistics to communication. Ensure follow-up communication after wins to maximize exposure and reinforce Stromer's brand leadership.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Monitor and analyze communication efforts, measuring their effectiveness and suggesting improvements to optimize reach and impact.
  • Consumer, market and brand studies: Conduct consumer and market research to gather insights on industry trends, competitor positioning, and brand perception (e.g. NPS, Brand Awareness, etc.). Analyze and interpret data to optimize communication strategies and brand messaging.

Your profile:

  • Education: Completed training and/or studies in marketing, communication, public relation, business administration
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in communication, public relations, and marketing, ideally within the consumer goods, lifestyle, automotive, or e-mobility sectors. Experience in managing high-end brands is a plus.
  • Experience in leading communication strategies and campaigns, securing media coverage, managing press relationships, and executing social media and digital marketing initiatives. A history of successfully managing external PR agencies a is highly desirable.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the e-bike or cycling industry, or a strong personal interest in sustainable transportation, is preferred. A general understanding of the market dynamics, trends, and influencers in the mobility and tech space would be beneficial.
  • Strong Writing & Storytelling Skills: Exceptional writing skills with the ability to create compelling content for various formats, including press releases, blog posts, social media, and marketing materials. Ability to craft engaging stories that align with Stromer’s premium brand image.
  • Media & Public Relations Expertise: Demonstrated experience building and maintaining relationships with journalists, media outlets, and influencers. Strong media pitching and press release writing skills. Ability to leverage media relationships to maximize brand exposure.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities, deadlines, and cross-functional collaborations simultaneously. Experience in managing large-scale events, product launches, and trade show participation is a plus.
  • A blend of creative thinking and strategic planning. You should be able to think outside the box, while also understanding the importance of aligning communication efforts with business objectives and brand positioning.
  • Fluency in German and English is essential. Proficiency in additional languages (French, Dutch, etc.) is a plus.
  • Team player, flexibility, independence and accuracy paired with passion, creativity and a passion for e-bikes and mobility.
