Role Overview:

In this challenging role, you will be a key player in our team in charge of the acquisition of new customers and therefore contributing to the expansion of our International Railway customer base. You have a hunter mentality, autonomous and organized, understand technically complex subjects, strong communication skills, the ability to persuade and engage customers, a proven track record in building a quality pipeline along with successful closing skills.


  • Generate new business leads through various sales and marketing activities, including networking, marketing and email campaigns, cold calling
  • Conduct high-level conversations with decision-makers in the technical departments to understand their business needs and present PROSE's value offer
  • Deliver effective solution presentations to potential customers, showcasing PROSE's unique solutions in engineering and consulting
  • Prepare successful proposals in response to tenders as well as unsolicited proposals
  • Manage multiple concurrent sales opportunities, prioritizing and organizing efforts to maximize success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project and marketing, to drive new solution development and customer retention
  • Accurately forecast and track sales pipeline and revenue
  • Achieve or exceed annual sales targets


  • Technical University degree, preferably in electrical engineering
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in sales or business development roles, ideally in the railway industry or equivalent
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial attitude
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate the value proposition of our solutions
  • Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think creatively and develop new sales strategies to achieve business goals
  • Prior experience in the railway industry is desirable
  • Fluency in English and good German language skills, any other language is a plus
  • Very good user knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of CRM systems is an advantage
