To strengthen Sunrise UPC Digital team, we are looking for the new Product Owner Chatbot & Messaging within our Customer Service organization. In this role, you will be responsible for driving innovation and improvement of our chat and messaging in digital care channels, by leading the redesign and execution of new and improved customer journeys.


Duties and responsibilities:
  • Define and implement the channel strategy for customer care chat and messaging
  • Run an agile team to build a state-of-the art chabtot
  • Interact with multiple stakeholders to improve the e2e chat experience of Sunrise UPC (including chats with human agents) across multiple entry points
  • Lead a team (including an external partner) responsible for:
    • design and implementation of new/improved chat flows and automation features
    • continuous improvement of the chatbot (through training, new intents, etc.)
  • Define WhatsApp chat strategy and implement the changes defined
  • Ensure proper resource allocation and build organizational framework to deliver against your roadmap, while managing costs according to budget
  • Generate and track tangible quality and efficiency benefits for the company
  • Come up with new creative ideas and initiatives to further enhance chat & messaging in Sunrise UPC to maximize value of investment
  • Collaborate with other departments needed to implement your roadmap (e.g. IT Delivery, Security, etc.)
  • Ensure proper and regular stakeholder management
  • Live, teach and promote agile methods across the company

What we look for in an applicant:

  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in an Engineering discipline
  • About 5 years of work experience in a digital environment
  • Proven ability to deliver end to end projects in digital area, from ideation to implementation
  • Experience in chat and/or chatbot area
  • Experience in managing agile teams
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, interpersonal, teamwork and organizational skills
  • Good Power Point and Excel capabilities
  • Entrepreneurial acting and thinking, driven by company business objectives in mind
  • Flexibility to handle directional changes with the ability to juggle moving priorities to ensure project success
  • Ability to contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced, fast-changing and sometimes unpredictable work environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Exceptional soft skills are a must - including the ability to speak to both technical and business concerns
  • Digital at heart
  • Hands on approach and experimental mindset
  • Strong digital customer experience focus
  • Fluent in German and English
