Platform Engineer (f/m/d)

As a Platform Engineer in Axpo Group's Cloud Platform team, you will help us work on challenging projects and solve difficult problems related to delivering high-quality software products to the energy industry. You will help improve, deploy and operate sophisticated group-wide software products that support our employees in meeting the challenges of the energy transition.

• Develop automation to deploy and manage compute resources in a multi-cloud and hybrid environment
• Work iteratively on our cloud platform offering to add and improve services and capabilities which are shared among our Group
• Closely collaborate with stakeholders to create highly scalable, operable and maintainable products
• Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services - from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement

• You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or relevant
• You have 5+ years of Systems Administration, Site Reliability Engineering, or DevOps experience with at least one cloud environment (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• You have practical knowledge of system architectures, networking and cloud security best practices
• You have the ability to research, evaluate and propose suitable new technologies
• You have excellent communications skills with the ability to collaborate with customers, peers, management and other stakeholders
• You are fluent in English, German is a plus
