Corporate Payroll Controller
Ensure high quality financial controlling and reporting for payroll related expenditure at Corporate.
Acts as the co-ordinator between the relevant Corporate Payroll Teams and the responsible SAP Accounting Teams.
Contribute to continuous improvement in operational effectiveness and cost efficiency of the payroll accounting process as well as personnel expenses at Corporate.
Coordinate and support of monthly actual closing and reporting, forecasting and mid-term planning process.
Work closely with Corporate Finance and HR on related projects and other stakeholders for areas of relevance.
Ensure compliance and managing actively internal control documentations with respect to payroll at Corporate.
Present reporting together with related analysis to the CFO, Head of O&HR and the Executive Committee on the topic of labor costs and the overall reduction of SG&A costs in the Group.
Give input to improve relevant tools (e.g. SAP, Workday).
Supports the Payroll Team through provision of accounting expertise to ensure that the requirements of International Financial Reporting Standards and LafargeHolcim Accounting and Reporting Standards are followed.
Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
University degree in Finance, Business Administration, HR or similar
International Payroll experience
Specific work experience:
Around 10 years of relevant experience in international firm or multinational corporate environment.
Majority of experience in areas of immediate relevance to the role, including Finance Controller and Global Payroll Manager.
Proven track record of working successfully in or with a wide range of stakeholder at different levels and in different locations.
Proven track record of working successfully in an international environment and in cross cultural teams.
Technical / functional skills:
Excellent and well-rounded financial controller with payroll experience
Strong analytical skills
SAP (SAP FI/CO, SAP BW, SAP FC, MTP tool), Workday
