Head Global Portfolio Management Business Operation & Mgmt

  • Leading and developing the Global Portfolio Management Business Development team
  • Ensuring the implementation and tracking of key strategic initiatives
  • Analysis and development of business cases (e.g. M&A activities, qualitative and quantitative analysis and assessments)
  • Identification and development of new business opportunities and products
  • Ensuring continuous further development and optimisation of the Portfolio Management systems, processes and workflows
  • Definition of procedural and technical business requirements. Coordination of testing and creation of user manuals.
  • Leading key interdisciplinary projects
  • Development and maintenance of relationships with key internal decision makers / influencers across the bank.
  • Representing the interests of the division Portfolio Management and is the consultant / ambassador across all business-related topics
  • Definition and monitoring of Portfolio Management targets through marketing activities and projects in cooperation with various departments
  • Supporting preparation of project planning, controlling, managing resources, budgeting, cost tracking as well as reporting
  • Maintaining and regularly updating documents regarding local policies and procedure
  • Ensuring quality assurance, proper risk management and regular updated policies and procedures


  • University/FH degree either in Business Administration, Economics, or similar
  • Several years of professional experience as business developer and/or portfolio manager a good understanding of financial services, processes and products
  • Proven track record in managing others and teams
  • Extensive experience in leading interdisciplinary projects in large organizations
  • Structured mind-set with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to produce crisp and clear decision making documents
  • Able to work under pressure and deliver constant quality, motivated to go the extra mile
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (teamwork, facilitation and negotiation) and experienced in frequent interact with top senior management
  • Strong sense of integrity and discretion
  • Excellent knowledge and profound experience in MS Excel and PowerPoint (Access and Visio would be an asset)
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Working experience in asset management is a plus
  • CFA charter, CAIA charter, AZEK diploma or similar is an advantage
