MARKETING AND MARKET ACCESS DIRECTOR - ROMANIA

We are currently looking for a Marketing Director to join our International Business organization in Romania. In this key-function with international exposure, you will be responsible  for the development and implementation of strategic and operational marketing plans and you will ensure that  key brands of Vifor Pharma have optimized communication through all the channels and media. In this role you will report directly into the General Manager and you will also be responsible for the following tasks:
  • Build and effectively use customer insight as a basis for marketing strategy
  • Gain approval for and effectively implement strategic and operational plans with appropriate budgets
  • Develop and implement key message platforms for the brands and ensure they are effectively communicated to customers through scientific and commercial channels
  • Support the sales force by developing high quality, customer focused communication materials which align with the brand strategy
  • Monitor brand performance through a variety of qualitative and quantitative data sources and take appropriate action
  • Lead/support market access activities and business development as appropriate as part of cross -functional teams
  • Play a key role in the Vifor Pharma Romania management team
  • Forecast sales and recommends Latest Estimates during the financial year
  • Monitor and control expenditure within the marketing budget
  • Build external relationships with partners and customers
  • Build and maintain a high level of disease knowledge and credibility with physicians
We are looking for a flexible, dynamic and result-oriented person with outstanding interpersonal and communication, willing to contribute to the success of Vifor Pharma Romania. As the ideal candidate, you will bring the following profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant area
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial functions with at least 5 years in an operational marketing role
  • A track record of successful brand building, especially in the hospital setting
  • Demonstrable competence in all aspects of strategic and operational marketing including effective implementation
  • A passion for brand building through insight, intelligence and evidence which turns ideas into results
  • Experience in the therapeutic areas Cardiology and Gastroenterology would be an advantage
  • Good analytical skills, creativity and solution-oriented
  • Fluent Romanian and English in oral and written
