Marketing Manager Partnering Business
In this role you lead strategic marketing planning and projects in strong collaboration with the Head of Global Marketing & Portfolio Management. You execute operational marketing plans to support achievement of sales goals and develop and implement marketing actions to strengthen Tecan Partnering Business brand. You generate in co-operation to the Head of Market Development market analysis, business planning and KOL relationship management and you act as key point of contact for Partnerning Business marketing communication.

A key aspect of this role is to deliver strategic and application content into the Partnering Business marketing plan supported by appropriate analysis, market research and voice of customer.

The role will provide significant visibility and interaction with internal and external stakeholders.

For this job the following qualifications are required:

  • Master degree in Natural Sciences (chemistry, biochemistry or medical sciences or equivalent), plus an education in Marketing and Finance and/or MBA is beneficial
  • Diagnostic industry experience (more than 5 years)
  • At least an understanding, but much better practical experience with diagnostic assays
  • Product management experience
  • Experience with OEM projects
  • Effective managed marketing campaigns, collaterals, web, online and channels
  • Ability to perform analysis of market, competitor and customer data
  • Ability to manage voice of the customers, market research and segmentation
  • Broad and sharp sales skills

The Marketing Manager in the Partnering Business has excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skill, and at the same time a strong diagnostic background with an analytical approach combined with commercial acumen. She/he enjoys working in a collaborative team , "hands-on" and with experience across global regions and under pressure. She/he demonstrates ability and experience to effectively interact with executives, senior leaders and with customers. The job requires around 20% of traveling.
