German speaking Service Desk Operator (fixed-term contract)

Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • 1st level Help Desk support: provide a single point of contact for both, internal and external Avaloq Swiss BPO centre’s clients
  • Make an efficient initial assessment of customers’ requests: either resolve or assign them to the 2nd level support accordingly
  • Record and track incidents and complaints, keeping clients informed on their requests’ status and progress
  • Manage clients requests’ life-cycle including closure and verification
  • Produce and update statistics and reports to both, clients and management
  •  Translate messages and communication regarding specific banking and IT topics in English, German and Italian
Knowledge, Skills and Education:
  • At least 1 - 2 years of work experience as Service Desk Operator or in a similar role
  • Banking and/or IT experience is mandatory
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows technical competencies
  • Well-developed communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven client- and result-orientation
  • Ability to work successfully both in a team and independently
  • Stress resistant and quick in reaction times
  • Flexibility and availability to work on shifts
  • Fluent Italian, English and German
