Within the R&D function of CPS we’re looking for you to join us as a Department Head for Sensor and Process Development.
The systems we build today are placed where Diagnostics really matters: in the intensive care units, emergency rooms, the neonatal stations, because these are the places where fast, precise and accurate information is needed. Our department is an integral part of the continuum of care, and regardless of where the patient physically is, we provide the complete solution with traceable outputs. We are the first frontier for the patient.
By having a strong technical background and excellent leadership style you can help us to further improve our multiplexed sensor design for blood gases, electrolytes and metabolites.
You will be the Line Manager for a team of approx. 20 experts working in a project matrix structure. Together with them, you will take care of the Development and Product Care activities along the product lifecycles including sensor layout, material selection and production process development. As part of the R&D management team, you will contribute to overarching system design and road mapping processes.

Required qualifications are:
Industrial experience in sensor development (electrochemical and/or biochemical)
5-7 years of proven leadership experience
Advanced project management know-how
Experience in a global, multicultural environment
Excellent command of English. German is a plus.
