Intern Product Line Management


RESPONSIBILITIES: Are you a highly motivated student with an entrepreneurial spirit? Do you have a passion for product? If so, you might enjoy experiencing the many hats a product line manager has to wear. The Product Line Management team is at the center of the company and drives the product creation process while being responsible for financial goals. Product Line Managers work with a dynamic and talented team of designers and developers to produce cohesive seasonal product ranges. They are responsible for creating an assortment of products which cover the regional & global market needs.

We’re seeking an experienced self-starter, with an entrepreneurial spirit, to work with the Exclusive Brands Apparel Business Unit. The selected candidate would be responsible for assisting the team in meeting their seasonal objectives. This person must have the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and have exceptional communication skills.

The focus of this internship at IIC-INTERSPORT is professional growth and development. The candidate would develop business knowledge of the global apparel marketplace.

In this internship, you will: Provide strong support to team members in all aspects of the EB Apparel Outdoor/Running/ Training/Snowsports/Swim/Accessories product lines. Assist in the product creation process. Conduct research on the apparel industry: consumer & market trends, competitive benchmarking, and account activities.

Coordinate and manage samples and sales meetings. Handle the reporting and analysis of seasonal sales numbers.

REQUIREMENTS: • Very good communication skills • Good verbal and written language skills in English • Proactive and results-driven • Team player • Autonomous and flexible working style • Independent thinker • Fast learner with passion & energy • Solid knowledge of Microsoft excel, power point and word are necessary • Must currently be enrolled in college/university seeking a degree in Business/ Marketing, Sport Management, Retail or related discipline
